Tuition

Cooperative schools are inherently social due to the established structure of including co-op members in the daily school lives of our students and staff. This educational model allows us to keep our tuition more affordable compared to most independent schools in Seattle. Households are asked to contribute a set number of hours each year, which, depending on the needs of your family, can occur in the classroom, outside of school hours, or a mixture of both. This supports our teachers and staff in focusing on the most meaningful part of their jobs—providing education.

Tuition is expected to increase annually (typically 3 to 8%, depending on the needs of the school).

Please note that our Kindergarten, like our other grades, is a full-day program.

Three Ways to Pay

If you join during the school year, tuition is prorated.

If tuition is a barrier for your family, or if you feel like the tuition will be a stretch in any way, we strongly encourage you to apply for financial assistance.
